Larisa Miller Long Bio

Larisa Miller is the founder and CEO of Phoenix Global Group Holdings, a specialized advisory firm operating across more than thirty countries. She advises governments, family offices, Fortune 500 and emerging enterprises, business and corporate leaders, C-suite executive teams, and founders on cross-border strategy, market entry, capital deployment, business model transformation, and complex transactions, with particular concentration in the Gulf, Sub-Saharan Africa, and the United States.

Across two decades of operating internationally, Larisa has built a practice at the intersection of government, sovereign capital, and global infrastructure. Phoenix Global is built to reverse-engineer the operating model a client is about to need, before the market knows the shift is coming, and to architect the version of the business that wins the next decade rather than the one it is exiting. Her engagements have included sovereign clients in the Gulf, multi-country development programs across Africa, agricultural and food security infrastructure across the United States and abroad, and the kind of cross-border transactions that require equal fluency in commercial structure and political reality.

Larisa serves on boards and advisory positions on four continents. She has spoken on stages in more than thirty countries on business strategy and disruption, global operations, emerging market investment, leadership, entrepreneurship, and the architecture of reinvention. She is a contributor to The Fourth Industrial Revolution and Its Impact on Ethics: Solving the Challenges of the Agenda 2030 (Springer, Sustainable Finance series), where her chapter examines how businesses can operationalize the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and to the Emerald Publishing volume The Rising Role of Women in Family Offices and Family Businesses, where her chapter examines the formal integration of women into family enterprise governance and capital allocation. She is the co-founder of Wealth Warriors, a tiered education platform launching in 2026.

She is the author of I Drove My Guardian Angel to Drink, releasing in Summer 2026, and Built Different: How to Build, Lead, and Compete When the Rules Keep Changing, releasing in January 2027.

Larisa began her career with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, including service with the Animal Health and Diagnostic Commission, before becoming the executive assistant to the Pennsylvania Secretary of Agriculture. She subsequently served in Governor Tom Ridge’s Office of Public Policy. She lives in North Carolina.

Five Ways to Turn Business Disruption into Growth: Larisa Miller

Coming Summer 2026

I Drove My Guardian Angel To Drink

A Memoir by Larisa Miller

At forty-three, she stood in a villa in Abu Dhabi at four in the morning and understood that the marriage was over, the career she had given up was not coming back, and the country she was standing in was not hers. She had two boys to raise, a spousal visa, and no plan. What she did next changed everything.

I Drove My Guardian Angel to Drink is the story of four generations of women who refused the smaller life — and the granddaughter who built across more than thirty countries, advised governments and Fortune 500 companies, and walked into rooms nobody expected her to be in. From an immigrant great-grandmother in 1907 to a global advisory firm a century later, this is a memoir about inheritance, identity, and what gets built when a woman finally stops apologizing for taking up the space she earned.

Larisa's second book, Built Different: How to Build, Lead, and Compete When the Rules Keep Changing, releases in January 2027.
